The Car Wash scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2009 is cancelled due to the weather.

The Methacton Aquatic Club (MAC) will be holding registration for swimmers and divers on Monday, September 14th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the MHS Cafeteria.  You may also register by mail prior to September 14th or at the pool evenings from September 15th - 17th.  Registration forms can be found on the MAC site (choose the MAC tab on the menu).  The Methacton Aquatic Club offers additional competitive swimming and diving opportunities for our MHS athletes.  Again this season, there will not be a fee for any Methacton High School Team athlete who joins MAC.  We are hoping that this will encourage more MHS Team members to join MAC and compete as often as they can.

The aquatic club is always looking for high school athletes to compete in the dual team meets, earn points for the team, and mentor the younger swimmers.  Many high school athletes have grown up through the aquatic club, and are familiar with the role models provided by our high school athletes.  Our MHS Team members are helping to continue and build the tradition of Methacton Swimming.  Warriors who join MAC will practice with the High School team and participate in Aquatic Club meets on Saturdays during the winter season.

For those of you new to high school swimming/diving, Pennsylvania High School Meets do not have exhibition heats in any events.  There is only one heat (3 entries for each team) in each event, thus reducing the number of opportunities for the high school athlete to compete.  The aquatic club is not limited to only one heat per event, and offers several heats per event, giving the athletes many opportunities to compete in several events.  The aquatic club is an age group competitive swim team, with athletes from age 5 or 6 years old up through high school seniors.   And most important,  MAC meets are fun!  Please click on the Methacton Aquatic Club tab if you would like more information.
